Do You Need Website Traffic?

Hello fellow marketers,

I am sure many of you are familiar with traffic exchanges(TE). These sites are a great way to get advertising to your website.

Basically, this is how they work. When you look at, or surf, other people’s websites you earn credits that you can use to show others your website. Depending on the traffic exchange and your level of upgrade you can earn anywhere from 0.25 credits per click as a free member, up to 1 to 1 or even more as a paid member, a very simple concept.

I have been using traffic exchanges for years and I have found that they can be quite effective if used properly.

One of the biggest mistake many people make, when using traffic exchanges, is to just throw in your affiliate link for your favorite affiliate program and then complain that these sites do not work. Of course this method doesn’t work! Your advertising the same exact site as every other affiliate in that particular program.

You want to stand out from the crowd!

You want to usea splash pages or a squeeze pages. A splash page is a quick loading page that will catch the surfers attention and make them want to find out more information. A squeeze page is similar but will ask the person to join your list before they go to your website. This way you can send them more information through an autoresponder. This is a great way to start building your list and we all know “The Money is in the List”!

I like to use Rocket Responder.

I have 2 programs that I use on a regular basis to produce these splash and squeeze pages.

1. Instant Splash Page. Here is an example of a page created there: http://instantsplash.com/view.php?id=79526

2. Landing Page Monkey. Here is an example page from there: http://clika.pe/l/6181/63131/

Both of these programs are very easy to use and produce spectacular pages that you can use to brand yourself or your program.

The most important thing to remember, when using a traffic exchange, is that you only have a few seconds to catch the surfers attention before they move on to the next site. So always use a splash page or squeeze page when advertising in these sites. Nobody will read a long drawn out affiliate page while they are surfing but if you pique their interest they may click away from the TE and take a look at what you’re offering.

I am the owner and administrator of Tornado Traffic which is fairly new and growing fast. Right now I have some great “Fall Specials” at the site so join today and take advantage of these awesome deals.
